Lesson 2 :Cutting skills ,Making box

Today ,we learn about :
Part1:  cutting skill
Part 2: Do the square of 8cm x 8cm box.

First,We need to prepare the material .It's include UHU glue,rule,pencil,rubber,form board,knife,cutting mat,and steel rule.

 Part1

1.First,cut the form board of 8 x 8cm

 

  2.Cut the curve and move out.After that,do the angle cut on the left side.

3.After moving,do the angle cut  on form board of 4cm x 8cm

 

4.Cut the form board of 8cm x 4cm.On the middle,cut the thickness and be left over the paper.

5.Put the form board and combine to the other form board.Finally,part 1 practice will finished.

Part 2

1.Cut the form board of 8cm x 8cm.Draw the line on the middle.After that,draw the lines on the left side and right side of 4mm.

2.Cut on the middle line ,after that tear the paper ,and do the angle cut on the left line and right line.

3.After cutting,bend the form board on the middle line.

4.Cut two form board of 8cm x 4 cm,on the middle draw one line.After that on the middle line draw two lines on the left side and right side.

5.Choose one form board and cut the left line and right line.After that bend on the middle and become curve.

 6.Choose the another form board and cut the middle line and become curve.

 

7.Use the method of part one and part two to created a box of 8cm x 8cm.

 

8.Draw the 8 square of 8cm x 8cm on the form board ,after that cut down,and do the angle cut around the square.After cutting ,use the UHU glue to paste the square and combine it.Finally,the box will finished.

Note:1.Use the curve cutter to cut the curve will be better and beautiful.or Use hand carefully to  cut and move the body no move the hand to adjust will cut the curve better.

 

2.Time is important.If no summit on time will fail.


Conclusion：Model making is very interesting.On this lesson ,we can study about many cutting skills and the ways of making model.When making model ,we must pay attention,concentrate and careful to made model to let it better.In my opinion,my art work of the box making will has some defect,next time ,i need to let it became beautiful.
